We are pleased to present our first Annual Report. In our first official year we have been able to raise $71,624 in cash and an extra $198,600 in kind for Bike Safe awareness programs and infrastructure scoping reports. This combined with the $3.24 million cycling infrastructure works commenced has ensured Bike Safe has positively impacted on cycling safety in our region.

In addition we have been able to achieve this purely through voluntary input from the Bike Safe committee. As a result resources generated have gone directly into safety programs as identified by our members.

This year we see as a crucial year delivering on further targeted awareness programs and encouraging much needed cycling infrastructure investment by Government. Much has been done, but so much more is needed to save lives.
